Creative Artistry & Delicate Craftsmanship

Elegance. Class. Chic Charisma.

I’m all about it. You can always find me falling in love with a timeless and romantic bridal aesthetic.

The Seamstress:

I am Abby Malloy, a bridal alterations specialist and the designer of all Abby Malloy LLC couture designs. I grew up sewing and started bridal alterations in 2019. Bridal is my jam ~ it’s what I do best and I would not have it any other way.

The Perfect Wedding Gown Fit:

It’s my mission and joy to alter a bride’s gown uniquely to her figure and personal aesthetic. Alterations are customizable, meaning a bride can be as detailed or simple with her overall fit as she pleases. Anything is possible. The fit that makes a bride feel more like herself than ever before is always the fit I will encourage.

Trade, Art & Craftsmanship:

Bridal alterations and couture pieces are not just my business or trade work. They are my personal craftsmanship, art, and creative vision.

Quality in my craft is important to me. Attention to detail, thorough focus, and integrity are highly valued in my studio and a part of my reputation.

I love what I do, it’s my dream work and it brings me so much joy.

 FAQs

  • There is a whole page on my website specifically for alterations and pricing questions. Click here to visit it.

  • A. Yes, everything is customizable. Email hello@abbymalloyllc.com to talk about designs.

  • A. No. All of my designs are made to measure or custom designed. A custom piece, alteration, or a made-to-measure product is crafted with you, specifically, in mind. It is not within my moral integrity to try to sell something custom made for lady “A”, to lady “B.” Instead, lady “B” deserves something custom made specifically for her. Make sure you love the style and kind of piece or alteration you’re asking for (all bride’s will be able and expected to approve their final alterations fit and look at our final fitting) and you won’t ever have to worry about this section.

  • A. Yes, if my schedule allows for it. Rush alterations may have a rush fee depending on current bookings. When filling out the Alteration Request Form, please be sure to communicate that you are in need of a rushed alterations process.

  • A. Yes, but please note that an extra fee may apply depending on seasonal supply and demand as well as material stock. 14 business days is the normal turnaround time between order date and receiving a shipped notification. If you are looking for something to come in sooner, send an email to Abby at hello@abbymalloyllc.com before purchasing to inquire about rushed time frames.

  • For Bridal Garters: Choose where you will be most comfortable wearing your garter (many brides wear their garter about 4 inches above the knee, but do what is going to feel best for you). Measure while standing up.

*If you do not have a flexible measuring tape, use a string or scarf. Wrap it around your thigh where you’ve chosen to wear your garter. Keeping your fingers at the meeting points, line up your string or scarf with a yard stick or construction measuring tape.

For Anklet Sets: Standing up with your feet flat on the ground, measure your anklet where an ankle bracelet would rest (3-4 inches above the bottom of your heel).

For Bridal Veils: Once you have decided how long you’d like your bridal veil, choose where (approx.) you’d like the comb of your veil to sit in your hair. Measure from that spot down to where you’d like the veil to end.
